Short Description
The Archicentre is an architects' advisory service. The service completes inspection reports that are designed to help a person make a decision about the purchase and renovations of a home. The general public can use this service before buying a house, or after buying a house to obtain information about the structural state of the house, as well as information regarding building for people with disabilities.

The report can aid home owners by giving impartial advice on the best and most cost effective way of undertaking repairs and maintenance and give an accurate indication of what needs repairing and how urgently it needs to be done.
Included in the report:
- what and where the faults are
- guide to probable repair costs
- list of the trades required for repairs
- give qualified advice on your home improvement ideas
The centre can also inform people as to local architects and builders who have previously been involved with the design and construction of houses for people with disabilities.
The reports are completed by Architects.
