Audiosigns Infra-red Wayfinding System

Short Description

More Details
The system consists of unobtrusive modules, ceiling or wall mounted at key points throughout a building, at intersections or near structures such as bus shelters. Each module has four transmitters that continuously emit an infra red beam in various directions and distances depending on the configuration required.
The users wear a small receiver unit that can be clipped to a pocket or lapel, or worn on a chain around the neck.
The transmitter and receiver design ensures the user picks up only the appropriate message for his or her position and direction of movement.
Prerecorded messages of high quality digital speech are stored within each module. They can be easily updated from a remote location using a PC.
