Short Description
Safeguard (plain) and Safeguard Design (patterned) are flexible vinyl sheet floor coverings containing granular chips of silicon carbide granite impregnated throughout to provide greater traction and inhibit slip. Safeguard Hydro vinyl flooring contains granular chips of opaque quartz and is designed for soft shoe, barefoot or wet area applications.

APPLICATION

MAINTENANCE:
. Safeguard's slip retardant surface requires a maintenance procedure to prevent the build up of dirt on the surface which, if left unattended, could adversely affect the slip retardance of this type of flooring.
INITIAL MAINTENANCE AFTER INSTALLATION:
. Remove all debris from the floor.
. Damp mop / scrub (using neutral cleaner).
. Rinse floor thoroughly with clean water.
ONGOING CARE:
Repeat above as necessary to maintain desired appearance of the floor. The frequency of cleaning required will be determined by the level of traffic and prevailing conditions.
NOTES:
. Do not polish as this will impair the slip retardance of the floor.
. Always rinse floor thoroughly with clean water as any remaining residue will adversely affect slip retardance.
