Short Description
Altro Safety Flooring is a slip resistant and wear resistant material. It is made from a combination of plasticised vinyl, aluminium oxide and silicon carbide abrasive grains, on a fibre glass backing.
It comes in various patterns, surfaces, and thicknesses.

Available in 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm and 4mm - from industrial grades to those specially developed for barefoot safety.

. slip resistance (wet and dry). Can be used in showers, swimming pools, wet areas.
. hygienic (integrated bacteriostat)
. resistance to acids and chemicals and to most oils
. resistance to water, protects subfloor from water
. resistance to wear and abrasion
. does not support combustion, has low smoke emission
. withstands irradiation (suitable for xray treatment rooms)

. available in a wide range of colours.
Installation
*Can be laid over most existing floors using adhesive to suit surface type. Recommended for indoor use.
*All joints should be hot welded for watertight joints.

Cleaning Requirements
- Easy to clean due to its impervious nature.
- Sweep the floor before washing
- Regular washing with an approved cleaner is recommended. Rinse with hot clean water. (Altro provides a maintenance guide)
