Short Description
A wiring system that controls lighting and other electrical devices or electronically operated systems (such as an irrigation system). The initial set up of a C-Bus system requires a PC and software from Clipsal. This is also needed for reprogramming of the system.

More Details
The C-bus System uses a range of switches and sensors: motion sensors, touch switches, time switches, light level sensors, temperature sensors etc.
Electrical devices can be controlled by wired, infra red or radio link. Push button light switches operate one or more lights or appliances depending on how the installer programmes them.
Automatic control of devices is possible when the C-Bus system is connected to a PC. This includes adjusting lighting levels and ventilation/temperature etc at different times of the day. The C-Bus system can automatically control lighting based on sensing natural light levels and turn on/off irrigation systems.

Requires professional installation. Clipsal has trained installers.
