The remote control unit has the capacity for use with a range of electrical switches to control various options on both a television and video recorder. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries.
Up to 6 infrared commands can be programmed. These do not have to be all from one appliance - they can be a mixture -eg, TV power, TV channel up, Video power, Play, Stop.
The deluxe version allows 2 macro functions to be programmed so you can send a series of infrared signals with one switch press- eg, TV power,video power, video play.
