Features
This programme is for IBM compatible computers running Win95/98. The program can reduce the number of keystrokes required when typing thus reducing fatigue and increasing speed of typing. It may also assist users who have a learning difficulty, especially if spelling is poor, but word recognition is reasonable.
WORD PREDICTION:
When the user types the first letter of a word, a list of words beginning with that letter is displayed. The user then selects the number corresponding with the correct word. Word prediction efficiency can be improved by customising the prediction word lists.
The program allows the user to alter fonts and numbers of words presented, the position and orientation of the prediction window and the rule by which words are leaned and predicted.
ABBREVIATION EXPANSION:
Allows the user to use abbreviations to increase typing speed, e.g. "DS" would expand to "Dear Sir".
