Text-to-speech software enables a user who cannot see the screen to write letters and documents, hear what has been typed by letter or word by word, to change the speed of the speech and voice and to repeat what has been just heard. The software also includes a Spell check function.
Can be used to access microsoft applications including word, word pad, notepad, Microsoft excel, outlook, windows calculator, messenger, anti-virus programmes and accessible websites on the internet.
To access the internet Thunder screenreader installs the Claro software special audio internet browser called WebbIE.
