Aircard Mobile Phone Kit

Short Description
A package of software and hardware to be used with compatible dynamic display communication devices. It adds additional phone related pages to the communication device. This enables the communication device to make phone calls and send text messages via the GSM mobile network. The user can communicate via spelling or Minspeak.

Features
The software contained in the kit adds mobile phone function pages (number dialling page, text messaging page, phone book) into the device.
The user can use direct access, head pointing, scanning or any other access method to access the mobile phone pages/rows.
A rectangular card containing the software is inserted into compatible dynamic display communication devices. The card has an aerial that allows it to operate via the GSM network.
The Aircard is powered from the communication device and does not need charging separately.


Method of Use
To make a phone call:
Use either the phone book page (where the user can choose frequently used numbers) or the number dialling page to make a call.
Once you have dialled a number, you can speak to the caller using Minspeak or spelling direct from your device. You can hear the caller through a speaker built into the system.
Hang up by pressing a single button on the page/row.
Answer an incoming call by pressing a single button on the page/row.

To send a text message:
Use the spelling page to enter the number and compose the message using spelling or Minspeak
Incoming messages can be viewed on the screen of the device, and you can reply directly to the message without having to enter the number again.

The Aircard can be used with Pathfinder Plus, Vantage Plus or Vanguard Plus communication devices. Please check with supplier for compatibility.
