Models / Styles
Family Design
Allows for three seats to be places in the middle of the vehicle and the wheelchair in the rear of the vehicle behind the three seats, giving you a seating capacity of five plus the wheelchair.
Family Member Design
Allows for driver plus two passengers (one seated in wheelchair and one seated in vehicle seat).
Passenger Design
Allows for the person in the wheelchair to fit in between two single bucket seats in the middle of the vehicle allowing for luggage space in the rear. This gives you the capacity of four plus the wheelchair. You also have the option on two fold away seats in the rear of the vehicle. With vehicles such as the Long Wheelbase Chrysler Voyager, Mercedes Benz and the Volkswagen Transporter you can also fit two wheelchairs in the vehicle if required.
Self Drive Design (two designs)
Designed to allow people in wheelchairs to be independent in driving. The drivers seat moves backwards into a position where the wheelchair occupant can get alongside the drivers seat for transfers and then move forward into a driving position. All this is done electrically with a button control. The seat can also swivel to assist transfers.
Another design is also available which allows the wheelchair user to drive their own wheelchair straight into the driving position without transferring into another chair. However this option is only available with the Mercedes Benz Vito at this stage.
