Short Description
A towbar mounted wheelchair carrier which can be tilted sideways to allow the wheelchair to be loaded using leverage, minimising lifting. Models available for self propelling and transit wheelchairs.

More Details
The carrier consists of a mounting plate which can remain bolted onto the towbar and a framework which slides into this, secured by a ring pin, which supports the wheelchair. The frame work is made from zinc plated tubular steel and can either be folded up or removed from the towbar when not in use. On removal of a securing pin, the framework can be tilted, 45 degrees towards the ground to allow the wheelchair to be loaded by tipping the chair back onto it's rear wheels and either pulling or pushing it in. The wheels sit into small depressions to assist in holding the wheelchair in place. Tiedown points have been incorporated into the design.
