Short Description
A range of stairlifts allowing the user to be seated, standing or perched. The stairlift is mains powered and wall mounted. Designed to suit straight, indoor / outdoor applications. Optional extra to suit some curved stairs.

Features
Constructed from steel and aluminium. The stairlift consists of a single aluminium tube track mounted onto the stair tread beside the wall.
Operated by a rack and pinion drive.
METHOD OF OPERATION
Constant pressure joystick control. Smooth start / stop.
Two remote controls are provided with every stairlift.
DISMANTLING / FOLDING
The seat, footrest and armrests fold up when not in use.
SEAT
The seat is padded and upholstered. Has a swivel seat, used for mounting and dismounting the stairlift at the top or base of the stairs.
FOOTRESTS
The footrest has a slip resistant upper surface.
SAFETY FEATURES
Features an automatic stop if an obstruction is encountered.
Seat needs to be locked in the riding position before the stairlift will move.
Features on board diagnostic panel.
Options
Sit and Stand Frame:
This option allows the user (s) of the stair lift to choose to ascend / descend the stairs in either the usual seated position or to stand on the footrest, whilst holding onto a special folding steady / security bar for stability. It is ideal for those who may have problems with bending their knees, or where multiple users with different requirements will be using the stairlift.
Seat Belts:
Stair lifts can be fitted with either an inertia reel lap harness or static type,
3 point fixing, over shoulder harness.
Hinged rail :
The lower section of the rail folds up and out of the way when not in use, allowing greater access at the foot of the stairs. This may suit situations where there is a doorway at or near the foot of the stairs and a fixed rail would obstruct the doorway.
Bridging Platform:
The bridging platform can offer a quick, cost effective solution to certain types of curved staircase. eg. winding turns right at the top of the stairs, or perhaps a turn on a flat landing where there are 2 steps after the turn.

Acorn Super Glide 120
A domestic use stairlift designed for straight staircases. Includes swivel / fold up seat and footrest. Features infrared remote controls (so the lift can be called, or operated by an attendant.) Indoor and outdoor models available.
Acorn Super Glide Perch Model
Designed for narrow staircase situations or where the user prefers to stand. Operated by a lead control or remote control.
Acorn Outdoor Super Glide Stairlift
All metal components are either made in aluminium, or are oil annealed or zinc plated before powder coating. Plastic components are heat and UV resistant. A plastic protective cover is provided.
