Short Description
A battery powered stairlift with seat. It can be installed for straight or curved stairs of varying lengths and landings. It can be used for indoor or outdoor purposes. It is suitable for a person who can transfer on and off the seat and is able to operate the joystick controls on the armrest.

Controls: The lift is operated by a small joystick on the armrest, and has an optional on/off key switch on the armrest. The wall mounted call and send units are located at the top and bottom of the stairs. These units have large buttons and easy read symbols. A remote control handset is available with the stairlift unit, which needs to be used from a distance as when transferring goods up or down stairs.
Mounting: The lift is stair mounted via a single track. The lift folds up when not in use to minimise obstruction on the stairs.
Seat: The arm rests are padded and lift up. The footrest is 55 mm from the ground level and ends level with the top stair nose, making for a stepless dismount. The seat is upholstered and lifts up when not in use.
Rail: Rail is constructed of powder coated aluminium.
Safety: The carriage and footrest have pressure sensitive edges, to prevent trapping by objects on the staircase. Self leveling system adjusts the speed and level of the seat on cornering. There is an over speed governor
Power: 36 V DC with a Rack and Pinion drive.
Options
The track can be customised for straight,curved and angled stairs. In addition to the following options:
- manual and powered folding hinges
- fold away seat
- corner and additional charge points for optimal parking
- choice of fixed or swivel seats
- choice of quality fabric colours
- footrest closer to the floor (50mm)
- reel seat belt for seat
- an outdoor stairlift has waterproof mechanisms for safety including a sealed motor and a cover for the unit
