Passenger Home Lift

Short Description
A lift which is designed to accommodate a person in a wheelchair and a person standing, enabling vertical travel between floors up to 4300mm. A pit is not required for installation. Suitable for residential use.

More Details
The lift can be installed through floors or against a major change in level up to 4300mm.
It consists of a lift car which moves through a free standing, purpose built lift surround tower. Several variations of installation can be achieved depending on the structural situation and the individual functional requirements.
A lower floor ramp eliminates the need for a pit to be dug for installation. A 75mm pit may be dug if a ramp is not desired.
The lift can be powered by either domestic single phase power or three phase if available. The manual override can be operated by a lay person.
Rated capacity up to 4 persons.


Features
CONTROLS are constant pressure, large, light touch mushroom push buttons, with call buttons at each level, and a key switch for controlling use.
POWER SOURCE The lift can be powered by either domestic single phase power or three phase if available.
DRIVE SYSTEM is a rotating ball screw driven by an electric brake motor and direct coupled gearbox.
SAFETY FEATURES include safety interlocking, preventing travel unless all doors are both closed and mechanically locked, manual backup lowering in case of mechanical failure, emergency telephone, lighting and alarm in case of power failure, manual lowering
in case of power failure, non slip rubber matting on the car floor and entrance ramp.

A permit is required prior to installing stair lifts in class 2 - 9 buildings (that is commercial or public buildings). Contact your local council for details.
