More Details
The ramps consist of six slats manufactured from a solid high density foam covered with fibreglass with a slip resistant surface coating. The slats are linked together by flexible webbing which allows the ramp to be folded width ways for storage and transport. They are designed to twist when in use in order to prevent rocking or instability on uneven surfaces.
The platform is flat with models available either with or without edge barriers. The ends are angled to rest on the supporting surfaces. The top end has a slip resistant ribbed rubber surface.
The ramps have been designed to accommodate the weight of both wheelchairs and occupant. They are also designed to avoid getting hot in the sun and to cope with extremes of temperature.
