Short Description
Shock absorbers for wheelchair castors, designed to cushion bumps and vibrations. They replace the rigid front castor forks on manual and powered wheelchairs. They fit onto most wheelchairs, including powered, manual, transit and sports chairs.

The product is lightweight aircraft aluminium construction, and a high energy absorbing polyurethane shock absorber.
The type of frog legs needed depends on the weight of the occupant. Therefore, the following information is required for prescription:
1. the person's weight
2. the type of wheelchair e.g. powered, sports, manual or transit chair
3. the height of the chair (from the ground to the bottom of the castor housing).

Models / Styles
The frog legs can be fitted to any wheelchair:
Microcastor suspension forks are required for sports chairs.
Frog legs MC5 suspension forks are required for manual and children's chairs.
Bull frog power suspension forks are required for powered wheelchairs
Customised: the frogs legs can be made to suit any wheelchair.
Additional Comment
Designed to provide improved comfort for wheelchair users. May enable some users to negotiate small lips between two floor levels. Reduces vibration in the frame of wheelchair which may help to decrease lower back pain, muscle spasm and pressure sores.
