Short Description
A lightweight push/transit wheelchair featuring a folding, stainless steel frame available in a range of sizes and a complete range of options.

More Details
The wheelchair frame has a folding, single crossbar and is available in a metal finish or epoxy coated in a range of colours.

Chair has slung vinyl upholstery, removable footrests, optional seat widths, depths and height, optional backrest height or backrest extensions.

A heavy duty crossbar is available (Glide 3).

Features
REAR WHEELS 300mm(12")diameter with pneumatic tyres.

FRONT CASTORS 203mm(8") diameter are narrow profile solid rubber. Wider microcellular castors or pneumatic are optional.

ARMRESTS are padded, removable and available in either full length, desk style, or height adjustable.

FOOTPLATES are swing-away, removable and adjustable in height.

BRAKES push-on, lever style with knob grip.

Glide G1 wheelchairs have a stainless steel crossbar folding mechanism.
Glide G3 wheelchairs have an aluminium heavy duty crossbar folding mechanism. This also has a locking action which holds seat and backrest upholstery more firmly. Seat widths over 490mm (19") always come as G3 model.
