Short Description
A rigid framed, steel wheelchair with a tilt function and an adjustable angle backrest. it comes standard as an attendant propelled chair, and is available in six standard and customised seat widths. Two models are available. the Comfort Plus has fully upholstered contour seating, and the Comfort Plus Custom that can adjust to accommodate all types of seating and postural supports. A full range of options and accessories are available.

Features
FRAME is a rigid steel frame which features a push bar and adjustable seat to back angle (spanner required). Two press down, foot operated levers located between the rear wheels operate the tilt function (left lever) and braking (right lever).
SEAT The Comfort Plus features a full plush seat with a cloth back insert. It is available in six seat widths and has an adjustable seat depth.
REAR WHEELS 300mm (12") rear size with pneumatic tyres is standard.
FRONT CASTORS are 180mm(7") microcellular.
ARMRESTS are removable and height adjustable with pads that can be moved forwards and backwards and dropped to seat height for sling transfers. They are full length with a waterfall edge and padded side guard.
FOOTPLATES are removable, height adjustable (spanner required) and swing away. Footplates are plastic.
BRAKES are foot activated by pushing down on the right rear lever and released by lifting the lever with your foot.

Models / Styles
The Comfort Plus Custom allows upholstery and frame types to be mixed and matched.
Configurations include
- basic base with no backrest frame for mounting of seat modules
- a plush backrest with a seat board for mounting pressure or custom cushions
- foam and ply backrest and/or seat
- back frame with seat board to mount off the shelf backrests or positioning modules
- and a back frame with slung seat upholstery.
The custom is available in six standard widths with the seat depth individually adjustable up to 550mm(22") from the centre back.
The chair does not fold for transport but can be reduced to a more compact shape by removing the legrests and armrests, and either folding forward, or reclining the backrest.

Guarantee
Glide provides a three year warranty on the frame and 12 months on the upholstery covering defects in materials or workmanship.
