Glide Recline Back & Tilt

Short Description
An attendant propelled wheelchair that features a reclining backrest and a separate tilt in space adjustment that tilts the seat and backrest back as a complete unit. The chair has a rigid, stainless steel frame available in a wide range of sizes and options.

More Details
The wheelchair has a has an extended backrest and removable elevating legrests, but does not fold or dismantle. The reclining action is gas assisted by a pneumatic cylinder.
Electrically operated reclining action and legrest elevation is an available option.

The backrest can be reclined into four different angles of recline. The maximum angle is 60 degrees from the upright position. The backrest can be reclined by squeezing levers on both the right and left hand side adjacent to the pushing handles.

The tilt in space mechanism has three positions, with the maximum angle at 30 degrees. The chair is tilted by squeezing the internal levers on the right and left hand side, adjacent to the pushing handles. Applying the brakes before reclining or tilting the chair will provide extra leverage.

The chair has slung vinyl upholstery, with synthetic armrests and calf pads.


Features
REAR WHEELS are 300mm(12") diameter pneumatic, transit.

FRONT CASTORS are microcellular.

ARMRESTS are extra wide and extra long to support the arms while the backrest is in all angles, removable.

LEGRESTS elevate to five positions, are length adjustable and removable. The legrests have contoured calf pads which can be adjusted to two positions. Electrically operated legrests are an option.

BRAKES are pull on/push off toggle style; extensions available.
