Short Description
A self propelled wheelchair which has the ARNAS lever mechanism for pushing and steering. The lever mechanism is able to be removed for an attendant to push the chair. The wheelchair has a chrome frame and is available in a range of sizes.

The chrome finish wheelchair has two levers on either the left or right side of the chair. The small lever near the wheel, selects forward, reverse or free wheeling (neutral). The steering handle is further forward and extends up above the height of the armrest. The handle is removable to allow the user to approach a table or side transfer onto a chair or bed, but it can also be removed to allow an attendant to push the chair.
The wheelchair is propelled by pushing and pulling the large handle, and twisting it left or right to turn the chair. There is an adjustment on the wheelchair to alter the mechanical advantage of the propelling mechanism.
The chair has slung, nylon upholstery, removable footplates and armrests (either full or desk arms are available), and a range of seat widths.

REAR WHEELS are 600mm (24") diameter pneumatic or solid tyres.
FRONT CASTORS are pneumatic or solid.
ARMRESTS are removable and are available in desk arms or full length armrests.
FOOTPLATES are fold up, swing away and removable.
BRAKES manual lever style brake on opposite side to steering handle;
pushing the steering handle forward operates the brake on the same side.
