Bodypoint Harness

Short Description
A range of belts, harnesses and brackets designed for use in seating systems to improve posture. Lower body positioning, pelvic positioning
and upper body positioning products available. Available with or without padding, in range of sizes.

All hip belts and shoulder harnesses in this range are constructed of seat belt style webbing weave. Padding is made of foam and is covered with wrinkle free soft fabric lining. A variety of buckles is available. The buckle sits on the outside of the padding. D rings aid in tightening the belt. The metal end fittings can be fastened to the wheelchair using clamps and screws. Buckle choice include:
- push button
- plastic push button
- aircraft latch
- quad belt with aircraft latch
- side release
- medial centre pull (four point hip belt)
- medial rear pull (four point hip belt)


Models / Styles
Hip Belts
These provide support to help prevent the user from slipping down or falling forwards out of the wheelchair as well as encouraging correct pelvic positioning.
They are designed to improve posterior pelvic tilt, pelvic obliquity, anterior pelvic tilt or pelvic rotation depending on type selected
There are a range of sizes and buckles
Belts can be attached to the seating system at either two or four points depending on desired need.
The range includes:
- non padded hip belts
- dual pull hip belts
- centre pull hip belts
- rear pull hip belts
- four point hip belts
- hip belt accessories.
Shoulder Harnesses
Provide anterior shoulder support to maintain an upright posture and to prevent the user from falling forwards out of the wheelchair. Available in a range of sizes.
Styles include:
- H Harness Front or Rear Pull
- Backpack Harness Front or Rear Pull
- Crossover Harness Front or Rear Pull
Chest Belts
These are an alternative when shoulder retraction is not necessary. They have a leather reinforced hook and loop closure and D ring. Can also be used as a lap belt or calf strap.
