Short Description
Commercial and alternative methods to using safety pins to fasten nappies include:
SOME COMMERCIAL ALTERNATIVES:
- Ti nappies
- Minappi fitted nappi
- Disposable nappies
OTHER ALTERNATIVES:
- Masking tape.
- Hook and loop tape - this can be sewn into place, but must be closed for washing to prolong the life of the tape.
- Buttons and loops. A terry towelling nappy can be cut to shape with a reinforced crotch section. Two buttons with corresponding loops are used to fasten the nappy.
- Prefolded and sewn - this saves folding after laundering and the nappy can be secured in place with plastic pants or stretch pants.
