An upholstery fabric that is flame retardant, waterproof, repellant to water and oil based stains, abrasion resistant and resistant to the growth of micro organisms.

It is designed to be easy to clean. Stains such as urine, blood, and many food stains are removed using water and water based upholstery shampoos.
Barrier Gard should not be used as a full upholstery and not in zipped cushions, where the penetration of the sewing needles and thread might allow fluids to seep through to the inside.
