Drainage System

Short Description
An electrically operated leg bag emptying device. The system has an electronically operated pinch valve which slips over the outflow tubing of the leg bag. The valve is stitched to a fabric or hook and loop strap which wraps around the ankle. Suitable for male or female use; urinary incontinence only.

More Details
It consists of a lightweight stainless steel valve which is fitted to the open end of the leg bag. The valve can be opened or closed by an electrical operation.
A wheelchair mounted, switching device which can be either a toggle (standard) or pneumatic (puff) type is included in the package. This can be fixed to the wheelchair frame. The kit includes the switch, wiring and tubing.
The valve obtains power from the user's electric wheelchair batteries (12 or 24 volt). A special rechargeable battery pack and charger is also available for manual wheelchair user's.
