Services Provided
NICAN, a Commonwealth funded information service, maintains a database of approximately 4,500 entries on organisations, activities, services, etc for people with a disability, their support workers, families, friends, and others in the community.
The database is updated regularly. Organisations listed on the database are contacted each year to ensure the information is up to date. Listing on the database is free.
Membership of the service receive the following benefits:
- free telephone support
- Help manual
- quarterly newsletter
- a brochure
- set of posters
- print and export facility.
Subscription to the newsletter is also available for non-members.
