Project Enable is the Information Service which collects information on all aspects of living with a disability and is free to anyone living in New Zealand.
1. There is an extensive database on equipment, appliances and devices available in New Zealand and overseas, and on manufacturers and suppliers.
2. In many cases lists of manufacturers' names, brochures and directories are available, as well as information kits on particular topics or types of equipment.
3. There is also a directory of organisations and individuals offering services to people with disabilities and an up-to-date list of people approved as accredited assessors by the Department of Social Welfare to issue equipment.
