Factors To Consider
Dials at the front with a central cross-bar may be easiest to operate.
Gas knobs have to be pressed in before turning so electric may be easier.
The flat ceramic glass cook top may make it easier to move pots and clean spills.
Controls can have tactile markings added to them.
The overall layout of the kitchen.
Room around the stove for standing and turning.
Ability to slide pots from stove to bench top.
The need for a range hood or other exhaust system.
The position, visibility and ease of using the controls and opening the oven.
