Features
A load is attached to the safety-catch hook at the end of the cable and raised by winding the handle. To lower the load the handle is wound in the reverse direction. The lifting capablities of the Backsaver Crane are supplied by a 300kg or 500kg manual brake winch. The winch incorporates a load friction brake which is automatically activated when the handle is released, keeping the load safely in position at all times.
The Crane is fitted with 360 degree slewing by means of a worm drive gear. This eliminates the danger of the crane boom swinging out of control when the load is taken up. The boom can only be rotated (slewed) by operating the slewing control handle. The boom can extend 1.7 metres and raises to a maximum height of 1.96 metres above the base.
Straps, chains and various attachments are available as additional extras.
Available in Powder Coated or Galvanised Finish.
