Short Description
A remote control / environmental control unit that allows operation of household appliances such as the television, lights, door openers and mobile phones. Can be operated via a touchscreen or optional switch access. Two models are available. A range of accessories are available.
More Details
The Keo can be used to operate a television, video, stereo and other appliances with an infrared remote control, or a personal computer (using the infrared receiver for PC). The Keo with Bluetooth model can also be used to control a mobile phone.
The controller uses a three by three key grid. The touch screen can be pressed directly to control appliances. The optional switch transmitter can be used for switch scanning access.
Models
Two models are available:
Keo - infrared output only
Keo with Bluetooth - features infrared and bluetooth output, enables mobile phone control
Options
Keo Infrared Receiver for Personal Computer - can be used with either Keo or Keo with Bluetooth. The infrared receiver plugs into the USB port of the computer and allows use of the Keo to control computer functions.
Keo Switch Transmitter - plug a switch into the Switch Transmitter and access the device using switch scanning
Transfer Cable - for transferring information to a personal computer (enables the user to back-up the settings on a computer)
Interface USB - a USB adaptor for the transfer cable
Method Of Use
To control an appliance select the picture on the touchscreen, such as the picture of the TV. The screen changes to show TV control options. Select a key to send a signal to operate the device. You can then return back to the home page to control the other appliances.
