Short Description
Writing with Symbols 2000 is a combination of a word processor and symbol processor with built in word grids so users can select symbols to write, and receive feedback in auditory, written and symbol form. A keyboard is used to type into the word processor and a mouse or switch is used to select symbols/text from the grids. Suitable for all ages.

The software package has a symbol library with over 9000 symbols in black and white and colour.
Other features include a pictorial spell checker, displaying symbols whilst typing, adding symbols or photos to the picture library.
Scanning options such as speed and style of scanning can be adjusted to suit the user.
