Foot Mouse

Short Description
A foot operated computer mouse. Comprised of a "slipper" used by one foot for moving the curser and a pad of buttons used by the other foot to activate all other mouse functions, including a scroll bar, all mouse clicks and a double click button. The "slipper" features an optical sensor and moves in the same way as a hand mouse. A mouse pad is provided.

Caution
Before using the Foot Mouse, the user's chair should be adjusted so that the feet can easily and comfortably reach the control pedal and "slipper".
Regular breaks and foot exercises to prevent ankle and leg stress are important.

More Details
The mouse features:
- Programmable buttons for defining shortcuts and functions. There are up to 10 shortcuts/functions for each program.
- Small pop-up and closable window on screen showing all button functions. Downloadable software available featuring full layout keyboard on screen.
- Pre-set shortcuts for Windows programs.
- An elastic strap on the mouse "slipper" is fastened using hook and loop (velcro) attachments, to suit a range of foot sizes.
- The scroll roller has a horizontal layout, so that the heel can rest on the floor, while the toes move the roller from left to right to scroll up and down on the screen.
- Compatible with Windows 98E, Me, 2000, XP, Vista and Macintosh OS x 10.3 and later.
- Brightly coloured buttons so that it can be seen under the desk and in the dark.
- The pad of buttons can work independently of the "slipper". The Foot Mouse system will not affect other mice and input devices used with the computer.

Method Of Use
The "slipper" part of the curser controller is worn and controlled by one foot and moves around on the mouse pad. The pedal part with 5 buttons and the scroll roller is controlled by the other foot. The Foot Mouse comes with a software CD and manual.
