Evac Plus Chair

Short Description
A folding, lightweight, attendant propelled stairway evacuation chair. Features a cantilever style aluminium frame and synthetic slung seat with padding on the back and seat front tubing. Has a sliding headrest and forehead restraint and a seat belt with quick release buckle. Two front wheels enable pivot turns and horizontal travel.

Features
The Evac Plus Chair has heavy duty cushion wheels that assist in movement down stairs. The frame is textured and is chip/scratch resistant, with a strong PVC coated nylon pocket seat.
The operation of belting to the two supporting rear carriages produces a smooth continuous working braking / traction system that slows descent proportionally to the weight of the passenger. On landings, the geometry of the unit transfers all weight to the two main wheels for pivot turns and horizontal travel.
The chair can be stored with a wall mounted bracket or can stand alone.
