Short Description
A range of indoor/outdoor straight stairlifts allowing the user to be seated or standing. The stairlifts are mains powered and wall mounted. A range of options and models are available.

Features
The stairlifts are constructed of steel and aluminium and consist of a single aluminium tube track mounted onto the stair tread beside the wall.
METHOD OF OPERATION is via a key on/off switch which is located under the armrest. For movement the toggle switch situated on top of the armrest must be held down, or alternatively the lift can be operated by push button remote control. Two remote controls are provide with each stairlift.
The toggle switch incorporates a tremor control, which minimises the risk of accidentally hitting the switch or causing the stairlift to move inadvertently. The controls can be mounted on either the left or right armrest. The remote controls can act as a 'Call-send' button to call or send the unit up or down to the charging points at the top and bottom of the stairs.
POWER SOURCE is a mains power point with backup from 2 x 12 volt batteries which are charged with a separate charger in case of power failure.
DISMANTLING/FOLDING is achieved by folding up the seat, footrest and armrests when not in use.
SEAT is padded and upholstered. A swivel seat that turns through 90 degrees can be used for mounting and dismounting the stairlift at the top or the base of the stairs. The swivel seat is operated via a lever located on the uppermost side of the seat.
ARMRESTS are flip-up and padded.
FOOTREST has a slip resistant upper surface and flips-up when not on use.
TRACKING can be mounted on either side of the stairs. The track is made from aluminium for indoor use and steel for outdoor use. Tracking can be mounted to carpeted or solid stairs.
SAFETY FEATURES include an automatic stop system if an obstruction is encountered. The stairlifts feature an on-board trouble-shooting panel with an LED display featuring 5 safety cut-out sensors to detect possible obstructions. The seat must also be locked into the riding position before the stairlift will move.
Options
Sit and Stand Frame:
This option allows the user(s) of the stairlift to choose to ascend/descend the stairs in either the usual seated position or to stand on the footrest, whilst holding onto a folding security bar for stability. It is suitable for use by those who may have difficulty bending their knees, or where multiple users with different requirements will be using the stairlift.
Seat Belt:
The stairlifts can be fitted with either a lap harness or a 3 point fixing, over shoulder harness.
Hinged Rail:
The lower section of the rail flips up when not in use, allowing greater access at the foot of the stairs. This may suit situations where there is a doorway at or near the foot of the stairs and a fixed rail would obstruct the doorway.
Bridging Platform:
The bridging platform can be used with certain types of curved staircases.
Models
Super Glide 120
Designed for domestic indoor use for straight staircases. Includes a swivel/flip-up seat and footrest. Features infrared remote controls (so the lift can be operated by an attendant).
Super Glide Perch Model
Designed for narrow staircases or where the user prefers to stand. Operated by a lead control or remote control.
Outdoor Super Glide
All metal components of this stairlift are made from aluminium and are oil annealed or zinc plated before powder coating. Plastic components are heat and UV resistant. A plastic protective waterproof cover is provided.
