Short Description
A wheelchair platform stairlift that enables a person seated in a wheelchair to be transported up or down a stairway on a platform which is pulled along tracking by a battery powered drive system. Models are customised to suit straight or curved stairways. Indoor and outdoor applications available.

Features
The stairlift consists of two rails mounted onto the stair tread beside the wall. The track and platform are epoxy coated steel. The stairlift suits internal stairway runs, with optional parking turns at the top and/or bottom of the stairs for storage. Parking turns can be up to 180 degrees.
The drive system is battery operated and completely self contained. When the lift is resting at the top or bottom landing, the batteries automatically recharge.
The stairlift features a non slip surface with ramp access from either end or from the side. The platform folds up electrically for storage.
Manually operated safety arms surround the rider

CONTROLS are hand held on an extendable cord on the platform, and hook into position on the operating panel when not in use. They have constant pressure up and down buttons and an emergency stop button. Wall mounted call/send controls are at each level of the stairs.

POWER SOURCE is a rechargeable battery that is recharged automatically when resting at the top and bottom landings.

SAFETY FEATURES are emergency stop buttons on all controls and on the operating panel of the platform, security key locks on the platform and call/send controls.

DISMANTLING/FOLDING The platform is power folded by pressing a button on the platform.
