Short Description
A powered rear wheel drive, rigid frame, paediatric wheelchair. The chair is also available with manual base. Features include a manual or powered tilt-in-space and customised sizes. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use. A range of options and accessories are available.

Features
The wheelchair frame is manufactured from mild steel and has a powder coated finish. The seat is removable and can be transferred between the manual and power base. The seat is able to be adjusted in width, depth, height and angle. Manual and power tilt-in-space are both options. Backrest angle can be adjusted.

The seat frame and base frame feature tie-down points for transportation in a vehicle. A wide range of custom and commercially made seating systems can be fitted onto the frame. The standard seat is padded and upholstered.

The controller is programmable and features flush on/off switches, proportional joystick, battery charge level indicator, speed control, powered tilt-in-space (when installed) and warning horn. The battery charging point is also located on the controller unit. An attendant control is optional. Other options include split or unitary controllers, tray or chin controllers.

The motor can be disengaged and the chair free wheeled by turning levers, located next to each rear wheel, towards the middle of the chair. The chair can be taken apart for transportation. It has removable leg and armrests, removable batteries and a fold down backrest.

CONTROLLER can be mounted on the left or right armrest.

BATTERIES are stored in two removable, sealed battery boxes with carry straps. Battery charger is separate.

REAR WHEELS are 317mm(12.5") diameter, with 57mm(2.25") wide tread, pneumatic as standard.

FRONT WHEELS are 200mm(8") diameter, with 50mm(2") wide tread, solid rubber as standard.

TILT IN SPACE features manual tilt-in-space between 25 and 40 degrees (depending on seat height) by a foot release lever. Power tilt-in-space is an option.

ARMRESTS are full length, padded, removable and height adjustable. They can be adjusted from 180mm(7") above a standard 50mm seat cushion to a maximum of 320mm(12.5"). Armrests of a greater height range are available as an option. The armrest position is also adjustable along the side rails. They are adjustable from 140mm(5.5") from the front of the chair to a maximum of 260mm(10"). This depends on whether an individual seating system allows for this adjustment.

LEGRESTS are swing away and removable with length adjustment from 100mm(4") to 250mm(10") in increments of 25.4mm(1"). An extension of 75mm(3") can be added.

FOOTPLATES are two piece plastic. They are angle adjustable. To allow for a vertical leg position and individual leg length, the footplate position can be moved in or out as required.

BRAKES are electromagnetic with additional manual parking brakes.

Licence & Insurance Requirements
A licence is not required for a rider in an exempt motor chair (electric wheelchair) which is limited to a maximum speed of 10km/h. The rider is considered a pedestrian and road rules apply as for pedestrians.
