Gunnell Kidster Tilt in Space Wheelchair - transit model

Short Description
A manual wheelchair designed for use by children. Available in two sizes. The steel frame is able to be used as a base for a modular seating system. Transit or self propelling wheels are optional and the backrest is able to recline. A range of options is available.

More Details
This wheelchair is available in front, middle or rear wheel drive positions. The standard models are rear wheel drive. Anti-tip bars are located at the rear of the base.

The two size options refer to the adjustment of the seat width. Seat depth and seat height adjustment is featured on both sizes. The wheelchair features 45 degrees of posterior tilt in space, and 40 degrees of seat to back angle (recline) adjustment.

The seat can be removed from the frame, and the frame folded separately to facilitate storage and transportation.

Drive wheels are available in 305mm (12"), 510mm (20") or 610mm (24") diameters, pneumatic tyres. Quick release axles are optional.

Castor wheels are available in a range of diameters from 75mm (3") to 200mm (8") with solid tyres.

Push handle is an angle adjustable, stroller style handle mounted at the top of the backrest.

Armrests are padded, height adjustable, flip-back armrests. Optional plug-in style armrests are available.

Legrests are available in a choice of three angles. Standard legrests are swing away and removable.

Headrest is height, angle and depth adjustable.

Footplates are two-piece, flip up and height adjustable.

Brakes are attendant controlled via levers located on the push handle. Additional push on style brakes are located near the drive wheels.
