Short Description
An aluminium, rigid framed attendant propelled wheelchair with backrest recline and tilt in space functions. The seat and back are removable, contoured and covered with waterproof nylon. Alternative seating can be used with this chair. Available in two models.

Frame is a rigid aluminium alloy frame.

Backrest Recline between 91 - 108 degrees is activated using a gas actuator lever on the right hand push handle.

Tilt-in-space between 1 - 17 degrees is activated using a gas actuator lever on the left hand push handle.

Seat is padded, removable, covered in a waterproof nylon and available in two seat widths.

Backrest is a height adjustable, removable contoured padded backrest, covered in a waterproof nylon

Armrests are height adjustable between 12cm-28cm in 2cm increments. The armrests move with the angle of the backrest recline function.

Legrests are swing away and removable. Elevating legrests are optional.

Footplates are angle adjustable and two piece flip up. Option of a one piece flip up footplate with the bariatric model only.

Rear Wheels are solid rubber tyres, 320mm (12.5") diameter x 50mm (2") profile.

Castors are solid, 180mm (7") diameter x (40mm) 1.75" profile.

Brakes are attendant operated with levers positioned on the left and right push handles. The attendant breaks have a locking feature. Manual lever breaks are also positioned on the rear wheels.

Factors To Consider
The tilt mechanism may provide a means of pressure reduction and alternative positioning for the occupant.
The lateral supports restrict the arm space available.
The lumbar support moves with the recline function and may then be incorrectly positioned for the occupant.
The seat and back cushions may be replaced with alternative seating options providing different levels of support.
