Chunc Adapt

Short Description
An attendant propelled, aluminium wheelchair base frame. Designed for use by children and adolescents. Features a reclining backrest and tilt in space function. Option of two different seat rail widths to accommodate different sized seating systems. Seating components can be purchased separately, or customised seating can be installed onto the frame.

More Details
Frame is made from tubular aluminium with stainless steel screws. Attendant adjustment bolts are made from plastic which contains glass to prevent breakage. Frame includes rear, swing up, anti tip bars and tipping levers. The frame features tie down points for transport in wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Seat is depth adjustable. The wheelchair can be purchased with 380mm seat rails or 480mm seat rail. Seat features 20 degree adjustable tilt in space. A push down foot operation method is used to activate the tilt in space and recline mechanisms.

Backrest canes can be removed for transport. Designed to allow attachment of a range of pre-made and custom made seating systems.

Headrest can be purchased as an accessory.

Armrests are padded, flip-up. Available with height adjustment.

Legrests are available with the option of angle and length adjustable, swing away legrests.

Footplates are metal with a plastic cover.

Rear Wheels are 375mm diameter, pneumatic, puncture resistant tyres.

Front Castors are 170mm diameter, solid tyres.

Brakes are activated by a foot pedal.

Dismantling is achievable by unscrewing an orange bolt at base of backrest and removing the full backrest. The remaining two parts can then be placed in the boot of a car.
