Short Description
A lightweight, rear wheel drive, self-propelling manual wheelchair featuring a folding, aluminium frame available in a range of sizes and a complete range of options. Available in a size suitable for bariatric clients. There are three styles of frame available and the axle plate and camber are both adjustable.

The wheelchair has a folding epoxy-coated frame with a single cross-member. There are three rear-frame options including square, curved and an extended rear frame. The square frame has greater rearward stability and can be used for amputees. The curved frame is highly manoeuvrable and is suited for sports performance. The extended rear frame has a lower seat-to-floor height and a depth adjustable backrest to accommodate for seating systems and growth.
There are multiple positions for the rear axles. Upholstery is synthetic, with adjustable-tension back upholstery an option. The backrest tension is adjustable by removing the backrest cover and altering the tension of the five hook and loop straps.
The rear wheels are quick release and the camber can be altered from 0 to 9 degrees. Both backrest and footrest are height adjustable using a nut and screw combination. Footplates are fixed or swingaway and may be tapered.
REAR WHEELS are quick release, 510mm(20") - 660mm(26") in diameter, with steel rims and spokes and pneumatic tyres. Options include carbon fibre, spoke composite and high performance spoke wheels in various sizes.
FRONT CASTORS are 80mm(3") - 200mm(8") in diameter narrow profile solid rubber. Pneumatic or urethane castors are available.
ARMRESTS are fixed or adjustable height and are swing away or removable. Available with full length or desk length armrests or spacesaver armrests.
FOOTPLATES are available in composite or aluminium material. Available as flip up and angle adjustable, extra large or as a one piece flip-up footplate.
BRAKES are push on or pull, lever style with knob grip. Brake extensions or scissor brakes are available.
CAMBER angle on the rear wheels can be adjusted between 0 to 9 degrees.
FRONT HANGERS may be 60, 70 or 90 degrees and are swing away, fixed or tapered. Elevating legrests are also available on 70 degree front hangers.
