Short Description
A mobile walking frame designed to be used for gait training. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Features a high support bar at the front and sides, a seat and trunk support with spring suspension. Available in two sizes suitable for children or adults.

Features
The frame is manufactured from tubular steel and is powder coated. It comes with a handlebar, trunk support in four different sizes, rear stop, a double parking brake and springs to match the body weight of the user.

The frame includes front and rear torso support, handle bars, and lever parking brakes. The padded components are padded with black water-resistant rubber foam. The body posture of the user can be set in any position from vertical to forward (prone) leaning, making it possible to find the body inclination that gives the user the best control.

The seat and frame can be lowered and raised, making it easier for the user to get in and out of the walker. To operate, release the locking buttons at the front of the walker and swing up the swing bar, this lowers the seat unit. When the user is in position, the seat unit is raised again by pressing the swing bar down until it locks with an audible click. Due to the integral gearing in the raising and lowering system, it needs only one third of the user's weight to push down the swing bar.

The front swivel wheels have solid tyres, the rear fixed wheels are pneumatic tyres.

The seat and trunk support have spring suspension, which make the upper parts of the frame react to the movements of the user during use, encouraging a gait pattern. The springs are obtainable in four different strengths which can be selected according to the user's weight.

The uprights (trunk supports) on the walker can be replaced to alter the frame from the medium to large size to enable the walker to grow with the user. The uprights are available in the following sizes:
Trunk support: 700mm, 900mm, 1050mm, 1200mm and 1300mm circumferences

The top section can be removed or the height adjustment can be lowered to make the unit more compact for storage and transport. The frame also has tool free adjustment via the central mast for multiple users.

Two sizes are available:
Meywalk Mk III Medium:
Suitable for users between the approximate ages of 7 and 14 years.

Meywalk Mk III Large:
Suitable for users between the approximate ages of 14 years to adult

Four spring sizes are available with minimum weight capacities:
White - minimum 20kg load capacity
Yellow - minimum 45kg load capacity
Blue - minimum 65kg load capacity
Red - minimum 80kg load capacity
