Pat Saunders Drinking Straw

Short Description
A plastic drinking straw with small non-return valve.

Caution
Some people have problems eating or drinking. This is a serious health risk. Signs include difficulty swallowing and chewing foods, coughing when eating or drinking, or food getting stuck in or spilling from the mouth. If you are concerned visit a speech pathologist of consult your GP.

More Details
The one-way valve enables liquid to stay in the straw even if the straw is moved away from the users lips.

There is a plastic clip attached to the straw so the straw can be clipped to the drinking vessel.

It can be used with warm or cold liquids and can be bent to desired angle by gentle application of heat. The straws are not suitable for semi-solids.

Available in packs of two, with two different lengths.

Cleaning Requirements
The straws can be washed in normal washing solutions or sterilised with boiling water. Not dishwasher safe.
