Short Description
A combination foam and alternating air mattress replacement system designed for pressure redistribution and pain management. Available in a range of sizes, including custom made sizes.
More Details
The mattress replacement is designed to be used with an electrically adjustable bed and features alternating air inserts surrounded by foam which lie beneath a visco foam overlay. It is contoured at one end to assist with pressure redistribution under the user's heels.
Pump Unit is electrically operated and is attached to the overlay. It has an adjustment system so the level of inflation can be altered to suit the user's weight. The air cells alternate on a ten minute cycle beneath the foam overlay. The pump features an on/off switch, and a "static" mode switch.
Cover is made of a multi stretch, polyurethane material and is fluid resistant and vapour permeable. The base of the cover is polyurethane coated. It features welded seams and a full length flap to conceal the zip. An inner anti-shear cover enables the outer cover to slide on the inner anti-shear cover to assist with shear reduction. The cover is machine washable.
Safety features:
No turning of mattress is required.
CPR release tag for rapid deflation
The system incorporates sensory software within the pump to help determine user weight and assist with pressure regulation.
The mattress has an alarm system which will active in case of power failure to alert the user.

Cleaning Requirements
The cover can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and mild cleaning agent. It is also machine washable and dryable up to 95 degrees Celsius.
