Hill-Rom P330 Wound Surface Mattress

Short Description
A mattress replacement system consisting of both foam and electrically operated alternating air pressure cells. Constructed from a foam base, sloped foam heel zone and a range of air cells that extend the width of the mattress. Available in two widths.

More Details
The mattress replacement system has a 50mm thick foam base, with twenty alternating low pressure air cells that extend the width of the mattress. The heel zone of the mattress consists of a 450mm length of foam which has a five degree downwards slope.

Cover is made of a polyurethane coating on polyester fabric. It is waterproof, low friction, antibacterial, antimicrobial and fungistatic. The cover can be removed by unzipping the base of the cover from the top.

Structure of the mattress includes nine cells at the head end of the mattress and three cells in the leg region are continuous low pressure (not alternating). Every second cell in the eight cells in the middle section of the mattress alternate their pressure. The mattress incorporates sensing technology that automatically adjusts the pressure cycle in the middle cells to suit the user's size, weight, shape and position.

Attachment of mattress to a bed occurs via straps attached to the underneath side of the mattress at the head and foot ends.

Pump is concealed within the mattress underneath the foam heel zone. 4000mm length of cable is attached to an adapter, which connects to a power point. A green light on the adapter indicates that power is on.

Safety Features include a yellow Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) release valve, which can be pulled to allow quick release of all mattress air.
