Short Description
A foam and alternating air mattress replacement system designed for use with clients at very high risk of developing pressure areas. It is available in single and king single sizes.
More Details
The mattress features an alternating air insert beneath a foam insert. The user can alternate between a static foam mattress to the dynamic system by connecting the air insert under the foam, creating an alternating air underlay.
Pump has an automatic adjustment system, which assess the user's weight and adjusts levels of inflation accordingly. The air cells alternate on a ten minute cycle beneath the foam insert.
Cover is made of two way stretch, polyurethane and is fluid resistant. The base is polyurethane coated. Features welded seams and a full length flap to conceal the zip. The top cover is fully detachable.
Safety features:
Base is a single 'U' shape foam that is firm on the border to facilitate transfers.
No turning of mattress is required.
The system incorporates sensory software within the pump to help determine user weight and assist with pressure regulation.
The system has an alarm system which will active in case of power failure to alert the user.

Cleaning Requirements
The mattresses can be cleaned with a solution of neutral detergent and hot water or a 0.1% chloride solution, followed by a rinse of clean water and a thorough drying.
The removable covers should be laundered at 71°C with a dilute detergent solution thoroughly rinsed and dried before being placed back on the mattress.
