Short Description
A viscoelastic polymer, pressure reducing mattress overlay. Available in a range of models and sizes. Designed to be used on top of an existing bed mattress.
More Details
The mattress overlay is designed to assist in pressure distribution to assist in management and prevention of pressure ulcers.
The pad contains a polymer gel which conforms to the shape of the user's body for weight distribution and cushioning. The pad is also designed to dissipate body heat.
The mattress pad can be cleaned and sanitized, and it does not absorb body fluids. If the pad is cut or punctured, apply talcum powder to the sticky area and a skin will form.
