Short Description
The Malem Bedwetting Alarm is a plastic matchbox size electronic device. The alarm is connected to a sensor plate which is placed inside an absorbent disposable pad worn inside underwear. A range of models are available.
More Details
The plastic box is pinned to the night wear top. The sensor is a small moisture sensitive device that is placed into an absorbent disposable pad in the underwear. When urination commences the sensor is activated and the alarm sounds a loud buzzer which wakes the child.
The alarm uses standard hearing aid batteries.
Models
Standard Singletone Audio Alarm: red, green or orange models have different tones.
Standard Multitone Audio Alarm: yellow model has 8 separate tones
Ultimate 1 Gold Alarm: gold model has 8 separate tones and an added option of a silent vibration alarm
Other options available are alarms with a visual (flashing light) alarm and also combinations of alarms in the same unit. There is also a wireless model that does not involve wires between the wetness sensor and the auditory alarm.
