Short Description
Battery powered scales that enable the weighing of wheelchair occupants whilst they remain in their chair.

Features
The scales have a base with two ramps with sprung hinged on/off ends that lower as the wheelchair is wheeled on, and return to their original position. The space between the ramps can be used as a stand on scale.
The digital readout is mounted on a stand, connected to the scales with a cord. Touch button controls are used for on/off; weight to the nearest 100g or 20g; and "tare" which
enables the wheelchair to be weighed by itself and then with the person on it, automatically taking away the weight of the wheelchair.
The scales have a spirit level built in, and winding adjustable feet to make it level.
The scales may be transported by disconnecting the control panel, and wheeling it on the small wheels at one end, by holding the handles at the other.
