Short Description

More Details
The toileting system and shower commode are made from moulded plastic with stainless steel hardware and a washable, nylon mesh fabric back rest. The system features removable postural supports, quick release seat mechanisms and a tool-free adjustable frame to allow for different occupants and ongoing growth.
Blue Wave Toilet Seat
The seat can be mounted to a standard toilet by use of a mounting bar which is secured in place by the toilet seat bolts. The seat can then be easily removed from the toilet by two circular attachments at the rear of the toilet seat.
The seat is contoured with an adjustable hip strap, and a removable soft seat cover with splash guard (deflector). It is available in two seat depth settings.
The arm rests may be removed by squeezing the two armrest locking mechanisms together underneath the seat.
An optional angle adjustable backrest is available. It is adjustable to an angle of 85, 95 or 105 degrees and can be placed flat for storage. It has a chest strap which secures with hook and loop fastening.
Other options include a removable abductor pommel and an anterior support which allows the person to lean forward and rest on this support while sitting.
Blue wave shower commode:
The toilet system can be placed on a mobile frame which creates the mobile shower commode. This can be used as a free standing commode, over the toilet and in the shower.
The mobile frame features 750mm castors with lockable brakes and a removable abductor support. It also has slots for height adjustment of the seat and the footboard. The footboard has two foot straps.
The removable commode pan features a handle and pouring spout.
