Strong Arm Fishing Rod Holder

Short Description
A fishing rod holder made of oil treated leather that can be worn over or under most clothing. It is attached to the lower arm using three hook and loop (Velcro) straps and assists a user with limited grip to hold a fishing rod. Supplier states that this product can enable lower level quadriplegics to cast a line independently. Available in left or right handed models in one size only.

MATERIALS: Fabricated from 6 oz. oil treated leather.

COLOURS: Brown

ADJUSTMENT: Can be made larger or smaller using the three velcro fastening straps.

METHOD OF USE: The fishing rod support extends from below the elbow to the wrist. Permits trolling, casting, and still fishing. It transfers the holding force from the hand and wrist to forearm bicep and shoulder. The fishing rod attaches to the part of the support on the underside of the user`s forearm.

OPTIONS: Specify left or right arm.

POPULATION THIS ITEM MAY BE USEFUL FOR: The user does not have to physically hold a fishing rod while using this product. It may be useful for those who have difficulty with hand function such as pain, fatigue, weakness or paralysis.

POINTS TO CONSIDER: Can used with standard fishing equipment and can be worn underneath or on top of clothing. Not suitable for use with pistol grip rod.
