Short Description
Safeplay surfacings are made from recycled car tyre rubber fibres and granules. SafePlay surfaces are available in a range of thicknesses to cater for different fall heights in a playground area. The product is wet poured in situ, leaving no joins or seams, and can be ramped up or down to match neighbouring surfaces such as tiles or concrete.

MATERIALS: SafePlay surfacings are made from recycled car tyre rubber fibres and granules. They are reconstituted by a polyturethane binder where each particle of rubber is encapsulated by a film of binder which then adheres to other such particles and eventually cures to form a permanent bond.
MAINTENANCE: SafePlay is a porous and flexible product that expands and contracts with extreme climatic conditions. The supplier states that as a result, it does not split, crack or deteriorate.
